Andrzej Kondratiuk's The Four Seasons is incredibly self-indulgent. Kondratiuk wrote, directed, produced, shot, and stars in the film, playing a character named, yes, Andrzej Kondratiuk. Further, his (actress) wife plays his wife, his brother plays his brother, and his parents play his parents. It's the most selfish of projects but, somehow, also manages to be immensely loving and introspective.
The character of Andrzej is a dreamer, someone only a step removed from the Marlon Brando who wanted to power his house with a pool full of moray eels. He talks about DC v AC, the power of pyramids, rays from space, and restarting the mind, but does so without dismissing or belittle those around him. They, in turn, indulge his…

Paling berkesan buatku waktu mereka bikin piramid dari seng. Jadinya keren banget waktu kena matahari, sama waktu bikin semacam gendongan dari kayu untuk ngangkat bapaknya yang duduk di kursi roda. Scene waktu Andrzej Kondratiuk ngobrol sama ibunya ngeliatin piramid, sama scene terakhir waktu niruin bapaknya waktu pegangan di kayu buat pelan-pelan jalan ikut sedih :( semoga kita semua diberi umur panjang supaya bisa membalas budi mereka.
